Adjustable U Head Jack
A U head jack provides an adjustable seat for beams in a formwork or shoring arrangement. The threaded stem and nut adjust the head height to suit the specified support layout.

Delite Scaffolding offers solid and hollow u head jacks. Our solid range includes 30 mm, 32 mm and 34 mm rod diameters, with overall lengths of 350 mm, 450 mm, 600 mm and 900 mm. Cup nut and jack nut options are available. U heads are pressed from mild steel in 50–100–50 mm and 75–100–75 mm profiles, with 5 mm or 6 mm plate thickness. Finish options are self finish, painted and galvanized. Lengths for both solid and hollow jacks can be customised as per requirements.

Hollow U Head Jack specifications
Our hollow range uses 38 mm diameter tubes in 2.9 mm, 3.2 mm and 3.6 mm wall thicknesses. Available lengths are 450 mm, 550 mm, 600 mm and 750 mm, with cast or forged jack nuts.

For solid jacks, specify rod diameter, overall length, cup nut or jack nut, self/painted/galvanized finish, quantity and delivery location. Select the U head profile (50–100–50 mm or 75–100–75 mm) and plate thickness (5 mm or 6 mm). Include a drawing or sample reference for the head dimensions and fit. A U head jack has a shaped head for beam seating. A base jack has a flat base plate for the bottom of the scaffold.
