Adjustable Base Jack
An adjustable base jack provides height adjustment at the bottom of a scaffold. Its threaded stem, adjustment nut and base plate allow the standards to be levelled within the specified system arrangement.

Delite Scaffolding offers solid and hollow base jacks. Our solid range includes 30 mm, 32 mm and 34 mm rod diameters, with overall lengths of 350 mm, 450 mm, 600 mm and 900 mm. Cup nut and jack nut options are available. Base plate options for solid base jacks are 150 × 150 × 5 mm and 150 × 150 × 6 mm. Base plates are pressed from mild steel. Finish options are self finish, painted and galvanized. Lengths for both solid and hollow jacks can be customised as per requirements.

Hollow Base Jack specifications
Our hollow range uses 38 mm diameter tubes in 2.9 mm, 3.2 mm and 3.6 mm wall thicknesses. Available lengths are 450 mm, 550 mm, 600 mm and 750 mm, with cast or forged jack nuts.

For solid jacks, specify rod diameter, overall length, cup nut or jack nut, self/painted/galvanized finish, quantity and delivery location. Select the 5 mm or 6 mm base plate thickness. For hollow jacks, select the 38 mm tube wall thickness (2.9, 3.2 or 3.6 mm), length (450, 550, 600 or 750 mm) and cast or forged jack nut. Include your required head or base plate dimensions and finish. For a custom length, include the required overall length with your enquiry.

What is the difference between solid and hollow base jacks?
Solid jacks use a solid stem; hollow jacks use a tubular stem. Select the configuration using the project specification and supporting technical data.
What determines the permitted adjustment?
Use the extension and engagement limits specified for the actual jack and scaffold system. Overall stem length is not the permitted working extension.
